Hollow Tine Aeration
A thicker, lusher lawn
Helps to relieve compaction in the lawn by removing small soil cores. The process allows thatch to be broken up and for water, air and nutrients to reach straight down into the roots.
If the grass in your lawn is looking a bit thin and sparse then it could be due to compaction, by relieving this new grasses can grow through more freely leading to a thicker and lusher lawn.
Other benefits of hollowtining are the prevention of disease and helping water to drain more freely. After hollowtining is an ideal time to do any overseeding.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Do you remove all the waste?
A: Yes! Unlike many companies we take all the waste away after scarifying, hollow tining and renovating lawns. A lot of debris can be produced which is too much for many of our customers to dispose of. It’s just the decent thing to do!
Q: What do you do with the soil cores when hollow tining?
A: These are raked up and removed. Some customers like them for the backs of borders or for their compost heap. If you would like to reuse the soil then just let us know on the day.
