Lawn Pest Control Treatment

Eliminate pests

If your lawn seems to be attracting a lot of unwanted wildlife then there’s a good chance they’re dining on course of Chafer Grubs or Leatherjackets. The likes of badgers, foxes, hedgehogs and birds will tear your lawn apart looking for their favourite pests. Other tell-tale signs are an increase in crane flies in your garden or leather jackets on the surface of the lawn.

Chafer Grubs and Leatherjackets eat away at the roots killing the grass and preventing new germination. In some circumstances the lawn can be rolled up like a carpet and removed due to the damage.

A tailored care plan

The good news is that these pests can be treated organically with Nematodes (millions of small, microscopic worms that feed on the grubs) at the right time of year and under the right conditions – It’s important that the ground is kept as wet as possible. Aerating the lawn prior to applying the treatment helps the Nematodes to be as effective as possible.
